We all know that the RoadRunner email is a brilliant email service that is acquired and managed by Time Warner Cable. A correct and effectual Roadrunner email server setting can help you work flawlessly with your everyday tasks.
This article walks you through the steps for setting up Apple Mail 8.0 on Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite). Once you complete the setup, you’ll have an incoming IMAP connection using SSL (without warnings) and an SMTP connection using SSL (without warnings). I found this incredibly odd. The only IMAP settings I could find were from third party websites, which indicated that the IMAP settings are as follows: GoDaddy POP3 incoming mail server: pop.secureserver.net; GoDaddy IMAP incoming mail server: imap.secureserver.net (port 143 or 993) GoDaddy SMTP outgoing mail server: smtpout.secureserver.net.
- When you get to the IMAP/POP settings, enter your Incoming server (POP) and the Outgoing server (SMTP) settings. Your email client might require password authentication for your Outgoing Mail Server. If so, enter your Workspace Email address and password.
- Use Server Settings preferences in Mail to change options for an account’s incoming and outgoing (SMTP) mail servers. To change these preferences in the Mail app on your Mac, choose Mail Preferences, click Accounts, then click Server Settings.
- Top results for IMAP, POP, SMTP, server addresses and port settings. Find your incoming IMAP, POP (POP3) and outgoing SMTP server addresses, plus your port and SSL port numbers.
